121219: More Devonian Fossils

Another selection for you today – all local 385 million year old invertebrate fossils. I’m too busy today with the hearings to add any more to this post. I hope you enjoy today’s images.

I’ll leave you with this pic of my latest painting. Not sure if it will stay this way. It seems like they never do!

Thanks for the visit.

  1. Nice fossils. There seem to be more outies than innies in this batch—or maybe they look that way because of how you processed the photos? I like the painting, especially for its carefree look. I had to chuckle when you said your paintings never “stay this way.” In the last couple of weeks I’ve returned to pencil drawing (after a huge hiatus). I keep thinking they’re finished, and then I find a weak area that I can fix, and then, and then, and then . . . But it’s all fun in spite of occasionally being frustrating.
